PUMP

Well, I am doing it. I gave the okay to start the process of getting an insulin pump. Still not sure how everything will workout. But I was told I am the perfect canidate. Now big decisions what color do I want! Purple, blue, smoky, or clear/smoky. then how long of tubing?? Ahh. I know I will need quite a bit of education on it though. But I was told this will happen fast! :-/

Today I went with a group of ladies from my church to a nursing home visit. An out reach type program. Today was the big day. Three visits in one day! It was nice. I miss going ot the nursing home in Anderson each Sunday.

This past week

Well, this past week I worked every other day. Was kinda nice, but my body woke me up early each day when I could sleep in, and plus I really didnt get that much of a break. But after work on Friday I drove up to my mamaw and papaw's. Mamaw just got out of the hospital on Wed i think. She had her second surgery to remove cancer from her intestines. Going into the surgery we all thought she would come out with a colostomy. But thankfully, the surgen was able to sew her up without one! Now, just for the cancer to stay away. They are refusing chemo or radiation tx. why i still have not heard the surgen's rational, which i really want to hear!
But while I was up their, Dad and a friend brought our tractor up to the farm and dad and papaw bought another tractor. It finishes off the series I believe:) YAAAA!! It is a cute little thing.

A Daring Rescue and another random story.

So mom and I were driving home from my grandmothers and we were going to stop by an older mans house. When we got there across the street 3 men were watching a cat eat. I thought this to be very strange! What happened, a cat had walked into the older mans barn without anyone knowing. the cat was locked if for a couple of days with no food or water. The older man walked out to the barn because he thought he had heard a meowing sound. Plus his neighbor was looking for his favorite farm cat. Ends up the cat was found and was fed plent of food and water and everyone was happy.

Another random story.

I had bought a squeaky toy for my grandmas dog. Okay no big deal. Well this dog loves it. The first day I dont think the toy left her mouth! She is still extremely protective of it. Well a couple days later, Grandma feed Missy at night and had her tied up for the night with the toy. Well the next morning the toy was gone! We could not find it anywhere. Well, there are a couple of neighbor dogs that wonder around. Apparently, one came and stool it from Missy durning the night. Very mischevious dogs! Well, mom found the toy in the neighbors yard way down the road. So now the toy is locked in the garage for the night and is reunited with Missy in the morning. :)

Umm anything new here? Some really bad news that just keeps getting coming. But hopefully new news will be coming next week. Dont really want to type about it right now....

We got snow! It was so pretty driving home yesterday night. I really did drive through a winter wonder land. The snow covered the trees and the trees were kinda making a bridge over the road. So beautiful.

Well, Better get back to the super bowel!
