Work is as crazy as ever. But today was alittle better, barely had time to sit and chart, but it was managable. But I got very excitied on my drive home. IT SNOWED!!! Well flurries, but still it snowed! YAAAAA Winter is here. I love the snow, now driving in a hurry in it is different. But I get to go out and actually play, childhood, itsn't it great:)!!
My life according to M.E. :)
Look at the world around us. Not sure what to say about myself. Becoming. Scared of life. But can't wait to see what happens. Honest.

Amanda had her Baby!!! Not Amanda J. Amanda M:) She called me this AM around 0640. The baby was delivered around 1230 this morning. The baby is in the "nursery" under the light (Billi is too high). and is tyacipnic? did not spell that right. Means the baby is breathing to fast. Pray for the new baby and for the mom and dad. They have not had any sleep and it is starting to wear.

I'm back....Or am I???
So my first day back to work I was driving on the interstate. No big deal, then I saw traffic backed up. Thought that was strange, traffic is never backed up in that particular spot. On my way to the interstate I did not have my radio on like normal. Then I turned it on to a station that is not local so it does not play our news. So I switched to my normal station and heard something about cows on the interstate before it started playing songs again. I began my search for the traffic anouncements. I found out a tractor trailer carring 40 heaad of cattle over turned and shut down the interstate. 25 were still missing. This is about 0610. By 0630 I called work and told them I would be late because I was stuck in a cow mess:) A cop finally came and was directing traffic back onto the interstate going the other way. Needless to say I was an hour late. But I found out later others were more than 1 1/2 hours late!
Then I got my assignment. 3 kids not bad. But one is in a family that only speaks a certain type of dialect? of Guetamalen Spanish (I spell horrible sorry). Then today I had the same family and another family that mainly speaks spanish. I really wished I had any of my interpreters with me. A communication barrier is horrible. I really want to speak spanish and every other lanuage fluently. Thats a huge, untouchable goal:). Then on the way home. I was driving 70-80mph norm. When the car in front of me hits a deer that ran out infront of them! I was on the phone, but some how managed to break, keep in a straight line, and not get hit my the deer (which flew several several feet in the air), the car debree, or any other car! God must really be looking out for me!! From what I saw it only looked like the head light on the left side was out, the hood looked intact, which is amazing. But I saw what looked to be like a muffler on the road with all the particles of the car. Not sure, it happened extremely fast. I am so glad I have good brakes.!!! Well that is all for tonight. I am going to watch ER!!! Thats right I leave one hopsital to watch another. Pathetic!

Well, I have one more day (today) before I go back to work. I am glad of this extra day because yesterday I woke up thinking about how many pt's were waiting in line for me to see:). Everything is starting to return to normal, which I am not sure I want. Maybe I am still in the mission mode or something. I just really want to do this with my life, and hopefully God will place the right man in my life to help guide me in this way. I hope I will never forget this experience or anyone who experienced this with me! Everyone on this trip really inspired me. Okay back to work. I guess I need to make sure I remember how to function in America!:) Well, I guess that is all for now. Until next time.......:-D
