TEST

We got our test back today. I was so nervous, my hands were even sweaty. I got my test and just held it in my hand. Doris had gotten her's back and got a 92% on a Nursing test. This made me even more nervous. Doris encouraged me to look, just like she always does:) and I looked I had a 90%!! I couldnt believe it I was sooo and still am Soooo exceited! Amanda got the same as Doris! Congrates everybody. And I got my clinical evaluations back from the last 2 clinicals. I was capable in everything and she complemented me!! Today is a great day. Yesterday was horrible, but today makes up for it. Yesterday I had my second hospital clinical and let me tell you, I dont want to work on a Surgical Recovery Floor. I dont like it. But anyways. I think I might get some homework done and then when Doris gets home from work we are going to PARTY (well, our type of party:)) We are all so happy today!!

Tractors

Today I got to drive a John Deere 60 Tractor in a parade at my grandparents. We were at a festival called the Stop Light Festival. My family ended up putting 11 tractors in! It was fun though. And the greatest thing was that Amanda and Andy came to see me!!! They even took my picture on the tractor. After they left I thought to myself that I should of had Amanda sit on the tractor so Andy could get her picture and she could be a farm girl!! Wouldn't you like that Amanda!!:) After all this we all went back to my mammaw and pappaws for lunch then cake and ice cream to celebrate my mom's birthday. Happy Birthday Mom!! I think everyone had a great day, well besides Kurt who's tractor stopped several times and even twice during the parade. :) Tomorrow I have to go to my community church and do something with my group. I have 2 of the 3 hospital clinical this coming week. I am frightened about this. I don't feel prepared enough. I wish they would go through more things with us and what we are to do. I sometimes feel like they just throw us into things without any explanation and then let us fish our way out. Which I guess is a learning experience, but for as much as we pay, I would like to get some guidance too! Ok, enough about complaining about school. There will be much more of this I am sure in the future:) Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend!!

TEST DAY

Well, I just finished my very first nursing test this semester. The scary thing is, I don't feel to bad about it. There is always that nagging feeling that I did everything wrong,( that would be global by the way:)). So I have one more hour of class and then I have to do some things on campus then do prep for tomorrow and Friday since we are going dress shopping with Doris!! It sounds like it will be alot of fun. I hope this test went well. We will see in most likely two to three weeks. About the time of our next test. Funny how that works.

Well, I must say school is back! Last night Doris, Amanda and I stayed up untill 3:30am to finish a nursing worksheet that was only worth 20 points! It was extremely funny with what we came up with and said. But today we had an 8 oclock class and then hospital orientations. This means I went through 3 hospitals today plus class. I was quite a day I must say. But tonight I get to read a book for my religion class that is fun to read! Thats right a college required book that I enjoy reading! All three of us have a fun time reading this book.
Right now I am in the Decker computer lab with Tracy!!! She is so wonderful:) Well, I guess I better publish this before I lose it !:-)

School

Well I am a senior now!!! I am very happy about this, however it saddens me also. We had our first week and things are going to be very busy this semester. I hope it all goes well and that my roomies and I all have a blast together!
